I'm LAZY!

Ok. I haven't been blogging in a very long time. I've just been TOO lazy and now I've finally gotten down to it. There's really nothing much in my life to talk about so I'll just blabber whatever I can think of.

The easter holidays started 2 weeks ago and it has been fun so far! I guess the highlight was my easter trip to Switzerland. Stephan and his family were very kind to put us up for an entire week and I cannot be more grateful to them (considering lodging and food were, erm, "paid for"). His mum was particularly nice to us and she's perpetually feeding us with good food and desserts. I'm damn sure I gained a few pounds during that week! Haha! Anyway, here's some pictures with his house in it.

When we arrived, the first place Stephan brought us to was Lake Geneva. I think the world's biggest fountain is situtated there. In english it's called the Jet of Water. Haha! The weather was really good and the sun was very welcoming considering the shit weather I was getting in London before I left. The best part is the refreshing air! My goodness! The air in Switzerland is super fresh and stepping outside just refreshed you somehow.

Anyway, day 2. We drove to Mont Blanc/Chamonix. As you may already know, Mont Blanc is the tallest mountain in Europe while Chamonix is a very famous ski resort which happens to be very expensive as well! We were supposed to go up one of the mountains but the ticket cost too much. It's actually a one-day ski pass so we figured it wasn't worth it. We spent the money having a good French lunch instead!

Getting lost even with a GPS. Hah!

I THINK that's Mont Blanc. Not sure.

After our Mont Blanc trip, Stephan drove up this hill nearby Geneva for a good view of the entire city.

The second day we were supposed to go up to Stephan's family's apartment in the mountains but we had to postpone the trip because of bad weather. Quite a pity because that was the highlight of our entire trip and it had to be cancelled. Sigh. We went to visit the UN instead. Nothing much there. The person bringing us around talked a lot and for some reason the other people in my group like to ask questions which just makes things even more boring. But anyway, it's not everyday that you get to step into the UN. Haha!

Ok. I feel like stopping now. Shall continue another time.
